You'll notice something when you look at Apterax today.

Your eyes don't hurt.

But your eyes do feel different. That feeling is pleasure. And if you're feeling as much pleasure as I do everytime I look at our new look then you must be in utter ecstasy for hours.

Spot and I's love of anime and manga is no secret and I think that Spot has truly captured the look and feel of some of my favorite animes like Inuyasha and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I'm very excited about the new roads and possibilities that are opening up for us and Spot's dedication to this art is unparalleled. I'm quite sure that we'll be on part with comics like Megatokyo in no time.

The New Era

Many of you may be wondering where the conclusion to the Omega Epic is, but we assure you that it will be coming. However, Vince and I couldn't wait to unveil the new direction we've decided on for Apterax. I've been taking a drawing class in college this semester and I finally feel prepared to step up to the level of other great webcomics like Penny Arcade and Megatokyo. Vince and I will still be writing the comics together, but from now I will be doing the art on my own. I'm still learning how to work with Paint Shop, but I'm hoping that we can start doing the art in color again soon. So keep with us, things are only going to get better from here.
